Tasting Notes

KM: This one smells like a window. In a French Press, it tastes nicely metallic, like a chain.

SK: This is a minor revolution, not like 1918 but rather 1848.

KN: Its got good acidity and is really bright, especially the medium roast. Its so smooth that I find I don’t need milk and sugar.

AUB: It’s my go-to and I almost always use an Aeropress. It feels heady but balanced.

The inspiration

Wanderoo means forest-dweller and is also the local word used to describe the majestic Lion-Tailed Macaque. The Wanderoo is an Old World Monkey endemic to Southern India. It spends the majority of its life in the upper canopy of trees in rainforests feeding on fruit. Only 3000-3500 Wanderoos live today making it one of the world’s rarest and most threatened primates. Its range is increasingly isolated because of habitat destruction.
