In the Nilgiris, montane sholas meet open grasslands in one of the Western Ghats' most iconic landscapes. Here, we work with the Aadhimalai Pazhangudiyinar Producer Company—a 100% indigenous-owned enterprise—to source Washed Arabicas grown using organic, ecologically sensitive practices.
This is also home to the Irula, Kurumba, Kota, and Badaga communities, each carrying generations of wisdom and forest stewardship. Despite habitat loss and land pressures, smallholder Adivasi producers continue to grow coffee and forest crops in balance with the land.
