Our sourcing journey began in the heart of the Biligiri Ranganatha Swamy Temple (BRT) Wildlife Sanctuary & Tiger Reserve—where the Western and Eastern Ghats meet. This ecologically unique region is not only a biodiversity hotspot but also home to the Soliga community, an indigenous tribe with centuries of ecological knowledge.
We started with a simple but vital question: “What real benefits will the Soligas see from this work?” That question laid the foundation for a long-term partnership built on trust, transparency, and shared purpose.
Today, BR Hills is a space of experimentation and pride. Alongside Washed Arabicas and Naturals, we produce microlots like Yellow & Red Honeys, Anaerobic Fermentations, and Fruit Fermentations. And while coffee takes center stage, pepper—often overlooked—has become a quiet symbol of resilience.
